The first floating foundation has been loaded out for EDF Renewables and Maple Power’s pilot project Provence Grand Large in France.
Assembled at Eiffage Métal’s factory in Fos-sur-Mer, the three floating foundations are equipped at their ends with two submersible buoys between which is an anchoring system.
Once in place, they will support wind turbines capable of producing 8.4MW.
