Greenvolt has signed a letter of intent for the sale of a behind the meter wind project in north-west Poland, for just under €19m.
The energy generated by the 8MW wind park will be consumed directly by the buyer (behind-the-meter), without injection into the grid.
The project should reach ready-to-build status during the third quarter of this year and COD in late 2024.
“This is an extremely relevant operation, in the sense that we managed to reach high values per MW for a behind the meter solution”, said Radek Nowak, CEO of Greenvolt Power.
“We are witnessing a growing appetite for the renewable energy projects that we develop and subsequently sell, following the asset rotation strategy that we have committed to with our stakeholders”, added João Manso Neto, CEO of the Greenvolt Group.
Greenvolt has a pipeline of 6.9GW with 2.9GW expected to reach ready-to-build status by the end of this year.
