The three-year collaboration includes research activities aimed at the design, construction and maintenance of the plants as well as the creation of an industrial supply chain dedicated to offshore wind farms.

In addition, the partners plan to activate advanced learning opportunities, such as internships for students and recent graduates, internships, support in dissertations, scholarships and specialised courses.

The agreement also covers activities to test cutting-edge technologies, for example through pilot projects or joint participation in national and international research programs.

“Integrating our know-how with that of the Polytechnic University of Bari for projects of national strategic importance will allow us to promote innovative solutions capable of generating shared value with the territory, which for us represents an indispensable asset in the development of our two offshore wind farms, Kailia and Odra,” said Ksenia Balanda, Manager Director of the BlueFloat Energy & Renantis partnership in Italy.

“We are confident that the effective support of the Polytechnic University of Bari will contribute significantly to enriching and enhancing the development of floating technology and creating educational and professional opportunities for many students of the prestigious Apulian university.”
