DEME’s DP3 offshore installation vessel Viking Neptun has arrived at its base in Vlissingen for the first time.
Viking Neptun will join DEME’s Living Stone vessel to reinforce its cable installation capacity.
Built to Norwegian quality standards, Viking Neptun has a turntable capable of handling 4,500 tonnes below deck.

DEME plans to boost this capacity by adding a second, 8,000-tonne cable turntable on deck and a cable installation system similar to that of Living Stone.
The vessel is now being mobilised for its first assignment.
