KENC Engineering BV will design and build a Hammer Quick Lifting Frame for use during the construction of two US offshore wind farms.
KENC received the contract from an undisclosed party.
The design will integrate a Balltec quick connect receptacle and a 750mT piling hammer. The scope includes installation aids for easy onsite assembly.
KENC’s design will have to deliver a fatigue-friendly lifting frame that is also easy inspectable.
The tool will be delivered in the first quarter of 2023 and deployed this summer.
