ILI Group has announced a sales tender for a 300MW battery storage portfolio.
The portfolio consists of three utility scale battery storage development sites spread across Scotland.
Of this, there are two 50MW projects in the North of Scotland with connection dates of March 2024 and May 2024, and a 200MW project in central Scotland with a connection date of 2026.
The sale process for the portfolio will be open to expressions of interest on the 9 January, 2023 to the 23 January, 2023.
ILI Group CEO Mark Wilson said: “We have been developing our battery storage portfolio since 2018 with eight projects totalling 400MW already sold to developers. Great to see the need and urgency for energy storage is now understood.
“This new portfolio offers an exceptional opportunity for the right developer in the battery storage sector, containing 300MW of ready-to-build (RTB) projects, with early connection dates running from 2024-2026.
“Energy storage projects like these are the missing backbone of the energy transition and the drive to net-zero.”
