Offshore wind expert Ursula Prall has been appointed as Managing Director of Germany-based clean energy consultancy Cruh21.
Her appointment complements the management team, consisting of Jimmie Langham, Meiko Neumann and Christine Partmann.
Prall said: “Cruh21 has been on the market since 2021 and has developed excellently in such a short time.
“The legal advice and support of projects in the energy and hydrogen industry, close to the energy transition, as well as the design in the management are exciting tasks that I am very much looking forward to.”
Prall’s experience includes consulting in offshore wind energy, environmental, planning and licensing law as well as constitutional and administrative law.
She was previously a partner at the law firm Becker, Büttner, Held (BBH).
From 2004 to 2012 Prall worked as a lawyer at Kuhbier Rechtsanwälte Hamburg, including as a partner from 2008.
From March 2004 to mid-2017, she was responsible for the Offshore Wind Energy Forum, where she was Managing Director between 2007 and 2013 and Managing Director from 2014 to 2017.
Since June 2017, Prall has been Chairwoman of the Board of the OFFSHORE WIND Energy Foundation.
“We wish Ursula a successful start at Cruh2 1 and look forward to working with her.
“Her many years of experience in dealing with legal and legal aspects of the use of offshore wind energy and their good networking in the industry are exactly the building blocks we need for the further development of our company,” said Langham, who founded Cruh21.
Cruh21 is a strategic project consultancy with a focus on green hydrogen, sector coupling and offshore hydrogen.
