MingYang Smart Energy’s first MySE 12MW hybrid drive offshore wind turbine has rolled off the production line at its manufacturing base at Shanwei in Guangdong, China.
The MySE 12MW is an upgrade of the company’s11MW platform and is a new breakthrough of the hybrid drive technology, MingYang said.
The turbine is designed for safe and reliable performance in extreme wind conditions of up to of 78.82 metres a second.

This provides greater generation and better LCOE potential for global customers in the course of decarbonization and sustainability, the turbine manufacturer added.
