Germany’s Federal Network Agency BNetzA has awarded onshore wind capacity totalling 931MW to 114 bids in the country’s latest auction.
BNetzA said 1320MW was offered and 116 bids totalling 947MW were received, with two bids excluded due to formal errors.

The largest award volumes were for bids for locations in Schleswig-Holstein (224MW, 36 bids), North Rhine-Westphalia (198MW, 22 bids) and Lower Saxony (178MW, 17 bids).
Bids ranged in price from €54.4 a megawatt-hour (MWh) to 58.8/MWh.
The volume-weighted, average price was €58.5/MWh, slightly below the maximum price of 58.8/MWh.
