EnBW has selected Steelwind Nordenham to fabricate and deliver monopiles for the 900MW He Dreiht offshore wind farm, off Germany.
The project’s 64 monopiles will host Vestas V236-15.0MW wind turbines.

He Dreiht, located within the German Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ) of the North Sea, is being installed 85 km north of the Borkum Island and 95 km west of the Helgoland Island.
Turbine installation, to be carried out by Heerema, is scheduled to start in the second quarter of 2025.
Full commissioning is anticipated in the fourth quarter of the same year.
Seaway 7 is installing the array cables for the project.
He Dreiht will reach financial close by mid-2023.
