Switzerland-based investment manager Energy Infrastructure Partners has closed a deal to acquire a 30% stake in Boralex’s assets and development pipeline in France.
Boralex said it will record the transaction in its financial statements as of today.

It added that the partnership will strengthen Boralex’s position in the French market and enable the company to accelerate its growth to meet the objectives in its Strategic Plan.
The objectives for France are to increase installed capacity to 1.8GW in 2025 and up to 3GW in 2030.
Boralex currently has 1.1GW operating France, as well as a 1.5GW portfolio of projects in the French market.
