Renexia has inaugurated its 30MW Beleolico project which will be Italy’s first offshore wind farm to come online in the country.

The wind farm (pictured) is located off Taranto in the Mediterranean Sea and once operational will be able to generate energy equal to about 58,000 megawatt-hours (MWh) and meet the needs of 60,000 people.
