Deutsche Windtechnik has been hit by an external cyber attack on its IT systems.
The company said the attack happened on the night of 11-12 April.

“Immediately after the attack was detected, all remote data monitoring connections to the wind turbines were disconnected for security reasons,” it added.
Deutsche Windtechnik said that the remote data monitoring connections have now been reconnected and no turbines were affected by the attack.
“There is no danger for our customers and business operations can continue with minor restrictions,” the company said.
