Polish company PGE has signed a conditional agreement to purchase three onshore wind farms in Poland with a total capacity of over 84MW for an undisclosed price.
The projects are the 36.9MW Radzyn located in Kujawsko-Pomorskie, the 22MW Ścieki in Lodzkie, and the 25.3MW Jozwin in Greater Poland.
They comprise 32 turbines in total, PGE said.
The company will own 772MW of onshore wind capacity, after the transaction is finalised.
PGE management board president Wojciech Dąbrowski said: “The announced large-scale acquisition of three wind farms with a total capacity of 84.2MW strengthens the green direction of the PGE Group’s energy transformation.
“With an installed capacity of over 770MW in onshore wind farm technology, we are strengthening our position as a leader in renewable energy in Poland.”
