The agreement is part of 302MW of turbine orders Vestas has booked at the end of the first quarter, which also include projects in Greece, Finland and Australia.

Turbine delivery for both projects is planned by the first quarter of 2023 whilst commissioning will take place in the second quarter of 2023.

The contract includes the supply and installation of 12 V117-4.2MW turbines for the 50MW Camporeale wind park and 13 V117-3.45MW wind turbines delivered in 3.6MW power optimised mode for the 47MW Roccapalumba project.

The projects were awarded at the seventh auction round held in Italy in 2021.

In Finland Vestas has secured a 93MW order for an undisclosed project and customer, for the supply and installation of 15 V162-6.2MW turbines from the EnVentus platform.

The project will receive turbines in the second quarter of 2023 and be fully commissioned by the fourth quarter the same year.

The Greek order is for a 36MW wind project, which includes the supply and installation of eight V136-4.5MW turbines, which Vestas will service for 20 years.

Turbine delivery is expected by the second quarter of 2023 whilst commissioning is planned by the third quarter of 2023.

The project and customer are undisclosed.

In Australia Vestas has won a 76MW order that includes the supply and installation of 18 V150-4.2MW.

Delivery the wind turbines is expected to occur in the first quarter of 2023, with commissioning to commence in the third quarter of 2023.

The project and customer names are undisclosed.
