Nordex has won a 50MW turbine order for a wind project in Spain.
Naturgy Renovables SLU, a subsidiary of Spanish energy and gas utility Naturgy Energy Group, placed the order for 11 N155/4.X turbines from the Delta4000 series.

The deal was first reported exclusively in last week’s edition of subscriber-only reNEWS.
The turbines will be installed at the Merengue 2 project in the Extremadura region in south western Spain.
Installation of the 4.5MW turbines on tubular steel towers with a hub height of 105 metres will begin in autumn 2022.
Commissioning is scheduled for spring 2023.
