Falck Renewables has reported an EBITDA of €208m for 2021, compared to €196m in 2020.
Adjusted revenue was €568m in 2021, compared to €384m in 2020, an increase of 47.9%.
Falck Renewables said installed capacity increased by 14.5% year on year, reaching a total of 1370MW of installed capacity.
In 2021 Okla wind farm (21MW) in Norway, Brattmyrliden wind farm (74.MW) in Sweden and Westmoreland solar plant (29.6MW) in the United States came into operation.
Falck Renewables also acquired an operating solar plant (Desafio) in Spain (50MW).
The developer’s pipeline now stands at about 12.5GW (+350% compared to December 2020).
Falck Renewables has also been offered option agreements in ScotWind leasing round to develop up to 3GW of floating offshore wind along with partners BlueFloat Energy and Ørsted.
The company has also submitted five floating wind project proposals in Apulia, Calabria and Sardinia, in Italy, with partner BlueFloat Energy, for a total capacity of 4.6GW.
Falck Renewables chief executive Toni Volpe said: “2021 marked important changes for the group: the acquisition by the Infrastructure Investments Fund of the 60% stake in our company held by Falck S.p.A. and a significant turning point in our business strategy.
“In addition to the expansion of our activities with a significant increase in installed capacity, we saw impressive growth and diversification in the pipeline of projects under development.
“On this front, the group made excellent progress with developing floating offshore wind projects in Italy and Scotland, highlighting our position as one of the leading players in the international renewable energy sector.”
