European Energy experienced strong growth in 2021 and reached new records for earnings and profit before tax.
The Danish renewables developer said EBITDA was €81.2m last year, up from €61.2m in 2020.
Profit before tax hit €62.7m in 2021, compared with €37.8m in the previous year.
European Energy said it expects the growth to continue with an EBITDA of €135m and a profit before tax of €100m in 2022.
The company said it started the construction of more than 1GW of renewable energy capacity in projects divided across 23 different sites last year in Denmark, Lithuania, Germany, Italy, Poland and Brazil.
In 2022, it aims towards a volume of 1.5GW of new renewable energy capacity under construction.
Since the start of 2021, European Energy has also expanded its staff count to 343 from 203.
The company said the largest growth in employee in-take has taken place inside its engineering, procurement and construction team.
The scale-up of staff is crucial for the construction of new projects in even more markets, it added.
European Energy said it had just over 34.3GW of renewable energy capacity in its pipeline at the end of last year.
