Andera Partners-managed fund Andera Smart Infra 1 has established a new vehicle for developing renewable energy projects.
Terr.A, which is 100% owned by the fund, aims to develop over 1GW of solar and wind projects in France and wider Europe over the next 10 years.
Andera has appointed Olivier Aymard as Terr.A’s director of development.
Aymard, who joins Terr.A from French wind developer TTR Energy, has over 16 years’ experience in the renewables industry.
Guy Auger, co-leader of the Andera Infra team, said: “Faced with the climate emergency, we no longer have a choice, we must further accelerate the development of renewables to decarbonize the French energy mix as much as possible. We entrust the development to Olivier, whose expertise is a guarantee of success.”
Andera Smart Infra 1 held a first €84m fundraising close in December 2021.
In January it participated in a capital increase carried out by renewables developer Watt&Co Ingenierie and earlier this month it invested in French green hydrogen company Lhyfe.
