Njord Energy is to submit a variation to planning affecting turbine size at a proposed wind project in Wales.
The three-turbine 12.9MW Rhoscrowther project in Pembrokeshire had moved to the final decision stage with Planning and Environment Decision Wales, when the developer signalled an intent to submit a variation.
The current application requests turbines with a maximum tip height of 135 metres, but Njord wants to decrease turbine one to 126.5 metres.
The wind farm just west of Pembroke Castle was referred to PEDW as a Development of National Significance.
PEDW has given developer Njord Energy until the end of February to formally submit the variation.
PEDW will then undertake a five-week publicity and consultation period in respect of the additional information, before Welsh ministers examine the proposal from May 2, with a decision expected shortly afterwards.
A previous application for a five-turbine wind farm on the site was rejected by Welsh ministers in 2018.
The Pembrokeshire branch of The Campaign for the Protection Rural Wales has called for the application to be rejected, citing visual impacts.
