Challenging weather conditions and Covid-19 related issues have delayed completion of Eolus’ 400MW Oyfjellet onshore wind farm in Norway.
The Swedish developer said that such problems have restricted travel for personnel and led to delays in delivery of components.

Eolus has said that it now estimates the wind farm will be completed during the first quarter of 2022.
It added that the delay is also expected to have a negative impact on its profit margin for the construction of the wind farm.
Construction of all 72 turbines has been completed and first electricity production has so far been achieved by 34 of the machines.
