European Energy has completed and connected to the grid its 34MW Svinningegarden solar farm in Denmark.
The project, located near Holbaek, has been under construction since March and will be able to deliver the electricity consumption of more than 6500 households.
The Danish company said it is currently discussing the sale of the solar farm with an undisclosed party and expects to close a deal before the end of the year.
European Energy chief executive officer Knud Erik Andersen said: “The level of construction activity for European Energy has never been higher.
“We’re committed to the expansion of green energy and before the end of 2021, we will see the completion of many more projects from European Energy.”
European energy said it had 27 projects under construction in seven countries at the end of Q3 2021 and expects to meet its end of the year targets with €80m in EBITDA and €50m in profit after tax.
