The jacket for the 700MW Hollandse Kust North platform is on its way to the Dutch North Sea after being shipped out from its fabrication yard.
The base will arrive today 18km off Egmond after leaving the Heerema site at Vlissingen-Oost

Its journey should take around 13 hours depending on sea conditions, said TenneT.
The jacket is 45 metres high and weighs around 2100 tonnes.
It will support a topside that will connect up offshore wind projects in 2023.
The topside will be installed next year.
