Developer Meridian Energy Australia and analytics and engineering outfit ONYX Insight have installed the latter’s condition monitoring system at the 70MW Mount Millar wind farm (pictured) in South Austraila.
In total 35 ecoCMS condition monitoring units are in place on turbines at the site, which ONYX said will enable the developer to extract valuable insights asset health and reduce operations & maintenance expenditure.
Meridian Energy Australia wind operations manager Chris Baldwin, said: “Arming our engineering teams with strategic insights on asset health means a greater return on investment across our fleet.
