Greencoat UK Wind has commissioned the 45MW Douglas West wind farm in Scotland.
Douglas West, which is located south-west of Lanark, comprises 13 Vestas V136 3.6MW turbines.

It is the company’s first subsidy-free asset in its portfolio.
Greencoat UK Wind said the addition of Douglas West increases its net generating capacity to 1289MW.
The acquisition was first announced in December 2018 and the project has been funded through reinvestment of Greencoat UK Wind’s excess cash flow.
