Enel Green Power Romania has signed two share purchase agreements with Mytilineos’ renewables and storage development business unit to acquire two solar farms totalling 90MW.
The first project will have an installed capacity of 63MW and will be implemented in Calugareni in Giurgiu county.
Construction is scheduled to start by the end of 2021, with the project coming online at the end of 2022.
The second 26MW plant will be built at Moșteni Teleorman county.
Construction is expected to start at the beginning of 2022 and achieve commercial operations at the beginning of 2023.
The two solar power plants built in partnership with the renewables and storage development business unit of Mytilineos and will generate 130 gigawatt-hours of electricity a year.
