BayWa RE has secured a contract to provide operation and maintenance services for five UK solar farms on behalf of Ingenious.
The delivery of BayWa RE’s expert O&M services for the sites, which total 22.37MW, will look to optimise the Ingenious managed assets helping to increase production through enhanced utilisation of resources.
BayWa RE has grown its solar portfolio to over 943 MW and continues to expand.
The company also manages wind sites on Ingenious behalf and has a total UK Services portfolio of 2.2.GW.
BayWa RE’s operation services managing director Natasha Kumar said: “The signing of these agreements with Ingenious highlights our continued commitment to working in partnership with organisations committed to supporting the global energy transition to a low carbon environment.

Ingenious is a specialist investment manager, founded in 1998.
The company supports the global energy transition to a low carbon environment through investment of debt and equity into projects and businesses that harness low carbon energy generation, resource efficiency, transport and communications technologies.
