Consultancies Ramboll and COWI are among several companies awarded contracts for work on nearshore wind farms off the coast of Denmark by developers Hofor and Lillebaelt Vind.
Ramboll has secured deals to prepare tender materials for procurement, construction and installation of foundations, as well as delivering technical consultancy tasks related to foundations, turbines and cables.
COWI will prepare tender material for use in the procurement and laying of offshore and onshore cables and transmission facilities.
Peak Wind has been hired for client consulting services, while New Power Partners will deliver turbine technical advice.
Hofor is planning to build the 160MW Nordre Flint and 250MW Aflandshage developments in the Oresund, while Lillebaelt Vind is developing the 160MW Lillebaelt Syd wind farm.
