Singapore shipbuilder Strategic Marine has launched a new CTV design for the offshore wind market.
The Strat Cat 27 has an improved hull design on previous models that maximises the waterline length, improving the operational efficiency across a range of loading conditions and reducing emissions as well fuel consumption, according to the company.
It can be fitted with various engine makes and can reach in excess of 30 knots at full speed.
To cater for the different operating areas around the world, owners can choose between several options on the propulsion system, deck cranes, active fender system, ride control, added Strategic Marine.
The SC27 is offered with two superstructure options for either 24 or 12 technicians.
Strategic Marine chief executive Chan Eng Yew said: “Kudos to our product development team which has been hard at work upgrading our best-selling StratCat with new and improved solutions to better fit operator needs.
