BVG Associates (BVGA) has appointed of Julian Brown as non-executive Chair.
Brown was one of the co-founders of BVGA and since then has held various roles within the wind industry, most recently as vice president and country manager of MHI Vestas.
In this new role, Brown will support the continued growth of BVGA.
With over 20 years of renewable energy experience, Brown brings a wealth of strategic expertise and industry knowledge.
He will provide advice, guidance and challenge to the BVGA team.
Brown said: “It’s great to be re-joining BVGA as non-executive chair at this exciting time for the wind energy industry.
“I’m looking forward to help the team continue to make an increasing difference to clients across the globe.”
Julian is also chair of AIM-listed Tekmar Group and a non-executive director of BW Ideol.
He is a board member of Renewable UK and has a number of other advisory roles in the offshore wind industry.
His appointment comes as BVGA continues to grow its global influence following the delivery of key projects in the UK, Ireland, the European mainland, the Americas and Asia.
