UK energy business development organisation NOF has launched an offshore wind projects database.
The NOF Offshore Wind Projects Database offers access to data on over 900 projects, an insight into the industry’s key players, a five-year forecast of market development and supply chain spend.
Users can review the status of individual projects, the packages awarded to of Tier 1 contractors and updates on Tier 2 contract awards and the involvement of other supply chain companies, NOF said.
NOF head of business development Paul Livingstone (pictured) said: “Offshore wind has been placed as a fundamental component of the world’s net zero emission targets, which presents considerable opportunities for well-connected and market-aware companies.
“Our Offshore Wind Projects Database provides a comprehensive resource to companies at a pivotal time in the industry’s growth where Round 3 and Round 4 projects will present prime opportunities for supply chain engagement.
“This service has been launched in response to members requesting better visibility of the project pipeline and the finer detail of key players involve.”
