Aker Solutions is to receive €67m after an arbitration tribunal in Germany ruled in its favour over a dispute relating to the supply of turbine and substation foundations for RWE’s Nordsee Ost offshore wind farm.
The ruling relates to a legacy case between Kvaerner, now merged with Aker Solutions, and RWE.

Aker Solutions added that €23m of the €67m relates to interest.
“This amount and the financial effects thereof will be recognised in Aker Solutions’ accounts when final payment has been received, expected to take place in the near term,” the company said.
RWE confirmed that it will have to pay €67m following the ruling.
Kvaerner filed the proceedings in 2012 with regard to compensation for various changes to the work scope, Aker said.
