A EDF Renouvelables company is seeking organisations to carry unexploded ordnance (UXO) surveys and clearance for the 24WMW Provence Grand Large floating offshore wind farm off the coast of France.
The work will cover identification and seabed clearance of UXO in water depths of six to 100 metres water depths on the export and array cables routes and contingency layout, according to the tender document.
EDF Renouvelables’s Parc Eolien Offshore de Provence Grand Large company is acting on behalf of French transmission system operator RTE for part of the scope of the work.
The contract will last for 12 months and between two and six companies are expected to be invited to tender.
Interested parties have until 2pm local time on 11 March to apply.
Invitations to tender are expected to be dispatched on 16 March.
