The Danish Energy Agency (DEA) has given the go ahead for Vattenfall to build the 350MW Vesterhav Nord and Syd offshore wind farms off Denmark.
The decisions follows assessment of supplementary environmental impact assessments for the projects, DEA said.
The decisions authorise Vattenfall to start the projects once the appeal period has expired on 11 January, it said.
Vesterhav Nord will be 180MW in size and feature 21 turbines installed off Lemvig municipality.
Vesterhav Syd is to have capacity of 170MW and comprise 20 machines off Ringkobing-Skjern municipality.
Vattenfall had to prepare a supplementary EIA for the wind farms at the request of the DEA putting back the original plans for commissioning in 2020 and leading to the cancelling of a number of tenders.
Both offshore wind farms must be connected by 31 December 2023.
Siemens Gamesa remains the selected turbine supplier to deliver 41 8.4-167 machines.
