Renewables outfit RES has had its asset management services certified by the International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO).
RES said the company had secured the ISO 55001 certificate for its asset management business.
“The certification will help RES continue to provide added value to clients and strengthen its growing asset management portfolio through enhanced credibility in its services,” the company said.
The company’s asset management project portfolio totals 1.3GW in the UK and Ireland, while globally RES supports 6GW of operational assets.
RES already holds the ISO9001 certificate for quality management systems, as well as ISO14000 for environmental management and ISO45001 for health and safety management.
RES asset management director Darren Cook said: “This certificate is something we’ve worked towards for a number of years and is testament to our team’s commitment and expertise in asset management.
“We’ve built fantastic working relationships with clients that have helped bolster our asset management portfolio, and continue to strengthen our skills and knowledge, to be a leading company in asset management services.
“With over 38 years’ experience and expertise, we have built on our offering for clients and are committed to delivering exceptional results.
“This is demonstrated in the fact we perform, on average, 1% better than industry average.
“We’re very grateful for this recognition and to be one of the only companies of our kind to have gained this certificate.”
