Consultancy Waves Group is providing marine warranty surveyor services to the 1200MW Dogger Bank A offshore wind farm off the east coast of England.
Waves Group said the work involves installation of foundations, array and export cables, turbines and one offshore substation and the foundation for Dogger Bank B.
It added that associated operations include load outs, installations and pulling in cables to both foundations and substations.
The contract started in August and will continue through to the turbine installation phase in 2023.
Dogger Bank is being developed in three 1.2GW phases – A, B and C – by a 50:50 joint venture between SSE and Equinor.

The company has over 10 years’ experience working in the renewable energy sector, having supplied marine warranty surveyor services on a number of large-scale offshore wind farm projects across the UK, Europe and Asia such as, Triton Knoll, Horns Rev 3, Galloper, Beatrice, Seamade and Formosa 1 Phase 2.
