Goldwind has commissioned the 13-turbine Excelsior wind farm in South Africa.
The 32.5MW project is located near Swallendam in the Western Cape and features Goldwind 2.5MW smart machines.

Goldwind Africa, a subsidiary of Goldwind, was responsible for the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) of the project.
The company is also responsible for EPC at the Golden Valley project in the country.
Golden Valley is currently under construction and is planned to connect to grid in February 2021.
