RES has installed the first of 15 turbines at the 30MW Solwaybank wind farm in southern Scotland.
The project will feature Vestas 2MW hardware, which is replacing the originally planned Senvion MM100 machines.

RES developed the project and is building the wind farm for The Renewables Infrastructure Group.
Construction of the project was delayed after Senvion went into administration.
The project is expected to be completed in November.
