The German Federal Network Agency BNetzA has awarded 191MW of new onshore wind power capacity in the country’s latest auction, well below the 275MW on offer.
A total of 26 bids were received, all of which were successful, the agency said.
Bid prices ranged from €55.0 a megawatt-hour to €62/MWh, with the volume-weighted average €61.4/MWh.
Three bids totalling 48.6MW were successful in Schleswig-Holstein, nine in Lower Saxony with a combined volume of 48.35MW and four in Brandenburg for 41.3MW.
A solar auction received 174 bids totalling over 779MW for the 193MW on offer.
BNetzA said 30 bidders were successful.
Prices ranged between €46.9/MWh and €53.6/MWh, with the weighted average at €51.8/MWh.
18 bids were excluded from the procedure, the agency added, without giving any reasons.
