Crew transfer vessel operator Northern Offshore Services (NOS) and offshore services provider SEA O G have entered into an agreement to provide marine services and CTV operations to the US offshore wind industry.
Swedish firm NOS operates about 30 vessels, of which most are CTVs.
US company SEA O G supports around 3500 onshore wind turbines supported through its international logistic chain from overseas factory to foundation. Its maritime expertise spans heavy-lift, port operations management, marine agency, transport equipment sourcing and chartering.
NOS chief operations officer Fredrik Hallqvist said: “We are looking forward to this partnership, which is in line with our strategy to continue our expansion in the offshore wind sector in the US.”
SEA O G chief commercial officer Clark Buffam said: “The team at NOS brings a tremendous amount of operational experience and industry insight to the table. I know this will be a robust partnership when we combine our capabilities and specialised skill sets.”
