Spanish developer Elecnor has started commercial operations at the 50MW Cofrentes wind farm in the Valencia region of Spain.
Cofrentes features 13 GE 3.83MW turbines and will generate 155,000 megawatt-hours of electricity a year.

The project has been developed by Elecnor subsidiary Enerfin and cost €53m to build.
It was completed on time, despite the problems caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, Elecnor said.
Finance to help construct Cofrentes was provided by Banco Sabadell.
Enerfin was awarded the project within the framework of the Valencian Community Wind Plan.
Elecnor carried out the construction of the civil works as well as the electrical infrastructure.
Some 300 direct jobs and more than 600 indirect jobs were generated during construction.
