Spanish outfit Greenalia has brought online the 24MW Minon wind farm in the Coruna region of Spain.
The €28m project comprises six 4MW turbines located in the town of Vimianzo, the company said.
Greenalia added that a second project, the Ourol wind farm in the province of Lugo, is expected to become operational during the first quarter of 2020.
The company has invested €26m in Ourol.
A further three wind farms – Alto de Croa 1 and 2 and Monte Tourado – are being built in the Coruna region.
The five wind farms are the first phase of the development of the Eolo project, which includes an investment of €87m.
The company said the second part of the Eolo project is in an advanced phase of processing and will represent an investment of €149m. It will comprise four wind farms.
