MHI Vestas has chartered Acta Marine vessel Acta Centaurus for work on the over 731MW Borssele 3&4 offshore wind farm off the coast of the Netherlands.
Acta Centaurus will assist MHI Vestas with the commissioning of 77 V164-9.5MW turbines between the fourth quarter of next year and the first quarter of 2021.

The vessel will based in the port of Flushing in the Netherlands.
Acta Marine said the charter agreement was signed by MHI Vestas chief operations officer Flemming Ougaard and the former company’s managing director Rob Boer at the WindEurope Offshore event last month in Copenhagen.
Acta Centaurus has previously supported MHI Vestas with walk-to-work and logistics support on the Deutsche Bucht offshore wind farm.
