The Danish Energy Agency received seven bids totalling 271MW from onshore wind and solar projects in Denmark’s latest technology neutral auction.
Four bids for onshore wind with a combined capacity of 135MW and three for solar farms totalling 136MW were submitted.
DEA said it expects all seven projects will sign contracts following the auction.
The weighted average price premium of the winning bids was 1.54 ore a kilowatt-hour or about €0.21/Kwh, it added.
Eurowind Energy bid for two onshore projects with capacities of 44.1MW and 38.1MW, with Overgaard 1B (36MW) and Wind Estate (36MW) the other two onshore bids.
The solar projects are 38.1MW, 26.4MW and 18.2MW in size.
The auction opened on 27 September and closed on 27 November.
DEA said the winning bids must be connected to the grid within two years from contract signing and will receive support for 20 years.
“The price premium is granted as pay-as-bid meaning that each winning tenderers will receive the price premium that was including in their bid on top of the market price for electricity,” the agency said.
