SSE Renewables Ireland is seeking a company to provide a floating lidar to carry out a wind assessment at the site of the 520MW Arklow Bank 2 offshore wind farm off the country’ east coast.
The contract will cover the supply of floating lidar system equipment and collection and the provision of wind resource assessment data, according to the tender document.

It will run from the 1 April 2020 to 29 April 2022 and is not subject to renewal.
Interested parties have until midday local time on 2 December to apply.
