Siemens Gamesa has unveiled the first nacelle for its 10MW prototype offshore wind turbine.
The nacelle for the 10.0-193 DD unit was completed at the company’s workshop in Brande, Denmark.

The turbine will have a 193-metre rotor diameter providing up to 30% more annual energy production than predecessor models.
Serial production is planned for 2022.
