Deutsche Windtechnik has secured a turbine maintenance contract from Trianel for a 200MW offshore wind farm in the German North Sea.

The scope covers troubleshooting, remote fault clearance and spare parts management.
In addition to “extensive experience” in the maintenance of Senvion turbines, the company’s chief executive Matthias Brandt said that his outfit offers wind farm operators know-how across the “entire offshore plan and peripherals”.
The Trianel deal follows two other German North Sea maintenance contracts for Deutsche Windtechnik, at the 60MW Alpha Ventus and the 113MW Riffgat offshore wind farms.
