EnBW has issued a tender for a helicopter to provide air rescue services to offshore wind projects Hohe See and Albatros in the German North Sea.
The service will include “aeronautical and medical crew to rescue injured persons” from the wind farms, states the tender.

The four year contract is to start on 1 March 2020 and end on 28 February 2024, but will be subject to renewal for up to two years.
Tenders or requests to participate can be submitted in English or German and the deadline is 7 November 2019 at 3pm.
The joint 610MW project of Hohe See and Albatros is due to be connected to the grid this year. Both farms will generate 2.5 billion kilowatt hours of electricity to supply around 710,000 households when fully operational.
