Orsted has awarded Van Oord the contract for cable installation works at the 900MW Greater Changhua 1&2a offshore wind farm off Taiwan.
Van Oord is responsible for the transportation, installation and burial of the 111 array and three export cables.

The array cables will have a total length of about 135km and the export cables 145km, the company said.
Van Oord will deploy its cable-laying vessel Nexus (pictured) to install the wires, together with its Dig-It trencher, which will bury the cables to the required depth.
Installation work will start in 2021.
Greater Changhua 1&2a is located between 35km and 60km off the west coast of Changhua County, Taiwan.
It will feature Siemens Gamesa 167-8.0MW turbines.
