EEW Capital Finance has launched a €200m bond issuance to fund the acquisition and development of solar power projects.
The projects are owned by EEWEco Energy World Development Holdings, part of the Eco Energy World group of companies.
The first €25m bond was issued on 15 August and is listed on the Euronext Dublin exchange.
Law firm DWF advised EEW Capital Finance on the issuance.
DWF head of financial services Martin Pugsley said: “We are pleased to advise EEW Capital Finance on this significant EMTN bond programme in the renewables sector, which will open up lines of funding to the Eco Energy World group to develop solar projects across multiple jurisdictions.”
Zenzic acted as arranger to the issuer.
Zenzic head of capital markets Robert Ainscow said: “The bond is an innovative structure which enables Eco Energy World to lever its existing portfolio of developed assets to invest in its inventory and further portfolio projects, while delivering a stable and valuable security portfolio for the benefit of investors.”
